Bosses of a Los Angeles auction home have reportedly been forced to call off their upcoming MICHAEL JACKSON estate sale just hours after opening viewing to the public. Julien's Auctions staff spent three months clearing out over 1,000 items from Jackson's former Neverland Estate home in California and CEO Darren Julien had planned to sell everything later this month (Apr09). But, less than a day after his viewing gallery was opened to the public, Julien has called off the sale. An attorney for the auction home refused to comment on the decision, other than to state "everyone is glad". A Rolls Royce limousine, the gates of the Neverland Ranch, bumper cars, a tour bus and iconic Jackson stage gear, including his famous diamond-studded glove, were among the highlights of the proposed auction. On Tuesday (14Apr09), the auctioneers told the Los Angeles Times newspaper they were desperately trying to resolve a feud with the King of Pop as viewing of the memorabilia haul began. Jackson's lawyers claimed certain items, including a carousel horse with an inscription from Elizabeth Taylor, are irreplaceable and that the singer had not signed the auction contract. A judge has already dismissed the attempt to have the contract ruled invalid, but Jackson is seeking a preliminary injunction to delay the sale. His arguments were to be heard in court in Los Angeles on Wednesday (15Apr09). But auction home executive director Martin Nolan insisted the sale would go ahead as planned. He told the Times, "Our attorneys are working with their attorneys to resolve this and we are focusing on completing the job we were hired to do per our contract." Nolan now states, "Both parties agreed not to move forward with the auction on April 22. The collection will be returned to Michael Jackson and MJJ productions." Resolved Question: Do we have a personal injury claim?
My wife was traveling in a hired limousine when a car went through a red light infront of them and the driver had to brake suddenly, my wife was sitting in the back of the limo when the driver stoppped she was sitting in the front! The next day she had some brusing and severe neck and shoulder pain she had visited hospital and has been told she has whip lash. My wife has also missed a week from work, does anyone know if we have a claim for personal injury against the limo company? Just to add there were other people in the limo and there were no seatbelts.

Resolved Question: Questions about wedding day transportation for the wedding party?
We are starting to look into limousines for our wedding next summer, and I'm not sure about how some things work.. Does the limousine bring the bridal party to the church before the ceremony and if so where does it pick them up from? I know the bridal party rides in the limo (we are getting one huge one for the entire bridal party plus ourselves) from the ceremony to the reception, but how does everyone receive home from the reception? Does a separate car receive hired to bring the bride from her home to the church, even though she will be riding in the limo with everyone else when leaving the church? If I have 16 people in the bridal party, should I hire a limo that fits 18 so that it is less crowded? Thanks for any help as I've realized I don't quite know how every of this work! :)
